Education and Early Career
After graduating from high school in 1944, Aydin Karadagly attended the Baku Maritime College (1945) and the M.F. Akhundov Theatre School (1948). In 1946, he joined the Committee for Radio Broadcasting and Radiofication as a newsreader. He later completed All-Union announcers' courses in Moscow (1949).
Military Service and Personal Life
Karadagly served in the Soviet Armed Forces from 1951 to 1954. In 1955, he married Gulkhetin Khanum Jabbarly. They had three children: Khanum (1956), Ayygul (1959), and Vugar (1966).
Further Education and Artistic Achievements
In 1964, Karadagly was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR. He graduated from the Azerbaijan State Theatre Institute in 1966. From 1966 to 1968, he served as Chief Director of State Radio.
Leadership and Editorial Roles
In 1970, Karadagly became Chief Editor of the Main Program Directorate. He held this position until his untimely death in 1980 at the age of 51.
