Aziz Ansari is an American comedian and actor of Indian descent who gained fame through his stand-up comedy performances and regular roles in sitcoms. In his own work, Ansari tackles serious topics such as family, relationships with parents, pandemics, and other aspects that concern everyone.
Childhood and Early Life
Aziz Ansari was born on February 23, 1983, in Columbia, Maryland, in the eastern United States. He grew up with his younger brother Aniz. Their parents, who were Tamils by nationality, immigrated to America from India and worked as doctors. After completing high school, Ansari studied marketing at the Stern School of Business at New York University. However, he decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

During his college years, Aziz Ansari frequently performed improvised comedy at the "Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre."
