Early Life and Education

Baigulda Aldashev was born in 1907 in the village of Saru, located in the Jety-Oguz district of Kyrgyzstan. His father, Aldash Mederbekov, belonged to a wealthy family. In 1916, during the national uprising, Baigulda's family fled to China and spent around six months in the city of Urumqi. In 1917, Baigulda and his brother, Samak Aldashev, returned to Kyrgyzstan after their parents died.

From 1917 to 1922, Baigulda worked for wealthy landowners in the village of Pokrovka. In 1922, he enrolled in the Sarui Rural School, where he studied until 1927. He received additional education at cooperative courses in the city of Przhevalsk in 1928.

Political Activity

In 1929, Baigulda joined the two-year cooperative courses in Frunze. He then traveled to Leningrad in April 1930 and enrolled in the Higher Cooperative Courses of the Centrosoyuz. While in Leningrad, he was arrested by the OGPU for political reasons but was later released.

Baigulda joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) in April 1931. He served as the head of the Jety-Oguz district office of Kirgiztorg in Pokrovka from May 1931 to June 1933. Subsequently, he held several political positions, including secretary of the party cell of the Kuybyshev collective farm, head of the Bread Office of Kirgiztorg, and head of the Issyk-Kul district office of Kirgiztorg.

Repression and Rehabilitation

During the Stalinist purges, Baigulda was arrested on June 5, 1938, and charged with participating in a counter-revolutionary nationalist organization known as the "Social-Turanian Party." He was imprisoned in Przhevalsk until May 7, 1939, when his case was dismissed due to lack of evidence. He was released from prison and later rehabilitated as a victim of political repression.

Later Career

Following his rehabilitation, Baigulda served as an instructor for the Issyk-Kul district committee of the CPSU from June 1939 to December 1939. He held various other positions within the Communist Party, including second secretary of the Tyup district committee and deputy chairman of the Issyk-Kul provincial committee.

From 1946 to 1947, Baigulda served as chairman of the Ton District Executive Committee. He then held leadership positions in several agricultural organizations.

Chairmanship of Sarui Rural Council

From 1954 to 1970, Baigulda served as chairman of the Sarui Rural Council. During his tenure, he focused on improving the socio-economic conditions of the village.

Awards and Legacy

Baigulda Aldashev received the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and the Medal "For Labor Valor" for his contributions to the development of Kyrgyzstan. He is remembered as a dedicated public servant who made significant contributions to his community and the country.
