In 1998, Freeman landed the role of Scott Windsor in the soap opera "Emmerdale Farm." He portrayed the character for nine years. In 2007, he left the show amid sexual assault allegations made by a 16-year-old girl. Freeman strongly denied the claims and stood trial, but the charges were ultimately dropped.
