Ben Roethlisberger: Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback

Ben Roethlisberger is an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Steelers with the 11th overall pick in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft. Prior to joining the NFL, Roethlisberger played college football for the University of Miami.

Early Career and NFL Debut

In his rookie season in the NFL, Roethlisberger was named the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year. He made his Pro Bowl debut in 2007. After leading the Steelers to victory in Super Bowl XL over the Seattle Seahawks, Roethlisberger became the youngest quarterback in NFL history to win a championship title.

Super Bowl Success

Three years later, Roethlisberger once again led his team to victory in Super Bowl XLIII over the Arizona Cardinals, with the Steelers scoring the winning touchdown with just 35 seconds remaining in the game thanks to his precise pass.

Roethlisberger is one of the most efficient passers in NFL history. He currently ranks ninth in the NFL in career passer rating (92.6), fifth in career yards per attempt (8.06), and eleventh in career completion percentage (63.24%). Roethlisberger is one of only six quarterbacks in NFL history to have defeated all 31 opponents in the league.
