Founding "Médecins Sans Frontières"

In the early 1970s, Kouchner played a pivotal role in establishing the international organization "Médecins Sans Frontières" (MSF), which provides medical assistance to victims of armed conflicts, natural disasters, and other emergencies.

Establishment of "Médecins du Monde"

In 1980, Kouchner founded another international NGO, "Médecins du Monde," dedicated to providing health care to vulnerable populations.
