Early Career

Birki Ármannsson is an Icelandic footballer who plays as a defender for Valur and the Iceland national team. He began his career with Valur in Reykjavík.

Club Career

On December 2, 2014, Ármannsson signed a contract with Hammarby. Prior to that, he had spent six years with Brann in Norway.

International Career

Ármannsson made his international debut for Iceland in a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying match against Liechtenstein, which ended in a 1-1 draw. He was also part of Iceland's squad at the 2016 European Championship in France.
