College Career

During his college years, Griffin played basketball at a professional level for the 'Oklahoma Sooners' team. On April 7, 2009, Griffin announced his participation in the NBA Draft and was selected as the first overall pick by the 'Los Angeles Clippers'. He played in the NBA Summer League and became one of the brightest stars of the tournament. Unfortunately, injuries plagued Griffin during his career, with multiple knee injuries requiring surgery.

Griffin had several notable achievements throughout his career, including scoring 44 and 47 points in individual games. He was selected as the 2011 NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner and unanimously named the NBA Rookie of the Year for the 2010-2011 season.
