Brad Sherwood: An Accomplished Entertainer

Early Career and Improvisation

Brad Sherwood's journey in entertainment began with a recurring role in the television series "L.A. Law" in the early 1990s. Following a comedy class in Los Angeles, he joined the cast of "The Newz" in 1994. In 1992, Sherwood landed a three-season stint on the British improvisational comedy show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" as the only Los Angeles-based cast member.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Other Television Appearances

Sherwood's success on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" led to various roles in its American adaptation hosted by Drew Carey. He also made guest appearances on Carey's sitcom "The Drew Carey Show" and contributed as a producer and performer to Carey's "Drew Carey's Green Screen Show" and "Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza."

In 2013, Sherwood returned to "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" for occasional appearances on its revived version on The CW. He has hosted numerous game shows, including "The Dating Game" and "The Big Moment," and has been a guest host on "Talk Soup." Sherwood has also been a regular panelist on "To Tell the Truth," "Jury Duty," and "Hollywood Squares."

VH-1 Historian and Talk Show Guest

Sherwood has become a staple on VH-1, appearing in various countdown shows and specials related to popular culture from the 1970s to the 1990s, as well as shows on toys and game shows. He has been a guest on "Larry King Live" and a regular panelist on "Chelsea Lately."

Improv Collaboration with Colin Mochrie

In 2003, Sherwood joined forces with fellow "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" performer Colin Mochrie for an improvisational two-man show, "An Evening with Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood." They have performed at prestigious events, including the Radio and Television Correspondents' Association dinner.

Additional Roles

Sherwood was an occasional guest announcer for "The Price Is Right" from 2010 to 2011. He continues to perform, tour, and contribute to various entertainment projects.
