Biography of Brent Spiner

Brent Spiner, an actor known for his role in the Star Trek franchise, was born in Houston, Texas. He lost his father when he was only 10 months old and was raised by his mother and stepfather along with his brother, Ron. After completing high school, Brent attended the University of Houston before moving to New York in pursuit of an acting career.

Early Career

Initially, Brent had to work odd jobs to support himself, but soon he started appearing on television. He made his acting debut in the mystical series "The Dain Curse" in 1978. Around the same time, he also made his Broadway debut in the theatrical production of "Sunday in the Park with George."

Moving to Los Angeles
