Currently, Britta Norgren continues her active training, diligently working in the hopes of demonstrating her best results and delighting her fans. Some time ago, the athlete found herself at the center of a doping scandal. Prior to the World Championship (which opened on February 19 in Liberec), Britta underwent mandatory medical examination, including blood tests. The results of the examination were disappointing, as her levels of certain indicators, including hemoglobin, were elevated. As a result, she was suspended from competitions for at least five days. There is suspicion that the increase in Norgren's hemoglobin levels may be due to the use of prohibited substances. Specialists claim that Britta Norgren may return to the race, but only if her blood levels return to normal after five days.

Regardless, Britta Norgren will not be participating in at least two races - the 10-kilometer classic race and the 15-kilometer pursuit. She is convinced that the situation will be clarified soon, as the altered blood picture may be a result of intense training at high altitudes or a viral gastrointestinal infection that Britta has been suffering from lately.
