Early Life and Career

Born on January 26, 1988, in Nuremberg, Germany, to Turkish parents Kenan and Serpil, Cansu Tosun embarked on her modeling career at the tender age of four. Her striking features and graceful demeanor landed her advertising campaigns and brand endorsements. While she initially trained in ballet for 13 years, Tosun later shifted her focus to jazz, modern, and hip-hop dance in high school.

Education and Acting Training

After graduating from a commercial college in Germany, Tosun moved to Istanbul in 2010. She honed her acting skills under the guidance of renowned actor, director, and poet Yılmaz Erdoğan and in Umit Çırak's workshop for contemporary acting techniques.

Film and Television Career

Tosun's acting debut was in the lead role of Nariman in the television series "Little Lady." She went on to portray the intelligent and beautiful Aysen in "Today's Palace Person." Her notable film credit includes the Franco-American action thriller "Anna."

Personal Life

Tosun is fluent in German, Turkish, and English. She married actor Erkan Kolçak Köstendil in 2018, and they have a son named Marcel. The family resides in Cologne, Germany, as of 2024.

Recent Projects

In March 2024, Tosun appeared in the television series "Dirty Basket," a Turkish adaptation of the comedy-drama "Devious Maids." The series premiered in Turkey in fall 2023 and became available on the START platform on March 26, 2024.
