Brooke Levi Vincent - British Television Actress
Brooke Levi Vincent is a young British actress who stars in one of the longest-running soap operas in the UK, "Coronation Street." She joined the cast of the soap opera in 2004, replacing actress Emma Woodward in the role of Sophie Webster.

Early Life
Brooke Vincent was born on June 4, 1992, in Bury, a historic town located in Greater Manchester, England. She attended Fairfield High School for Girls in Droylsden. Her first television appearance was in 2002, playing the character Casey Emma Glass in an episode of the British comedy horror series "The League of Gentlemen."

Coronation Street
In April 2004, Brooke joined the cast of "Coronation Street" and became the third actress to portray the character Sophie Webster, replacing Emma Woodward who decided to leave the soap opera at the end of 2003 to focus on her studies. Brooke's first appearance as Sophie took place on May 12. Despite being two years older than her character, she quickly gained popularity in the role. She also appeared in the family series "Children in Need," a project that helps raise funds for the charity of the same name.

Lesbian Storyline
In an interview on September 7, 2010, Brooke Vincent and her co-star Sacha Parkinson discussed the unexpected development of their storylines, which took on a lesbian sexual undertone as their characters evolved from best friends to lovers, exploring their growing sexuality. This storyline in "Coronation Street" began on April 11, 2010. On November 5, 2010, the series won the "Broadcast of the Year" award at the Stonewall Awards, acknowledging the portrayal of this same-sex storyline. It's worth noting that in 2010, "Coronation Street" took a groundbreaking step by featuring a lesbian love story for the first time in the show's history, which has been on the air since December 1960. Following this, both actresses gave numerous interviews, including one to "Heat" magazine, dedicated to the entertainment industry, and "Diva," a publication for the British lesbian community.
Awards
In 2008, Brooke was nominated for the British Soap Award for Best Young Actor or Actress for her portrayal of Sophie, but she lost the award to actor Jamie Borthwick.
