Marc-André Gragnani
Marc-André Gragnani is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for Adler Mannheim in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).
Early Career and NHL Draft
Gragnani began his hockey career with the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He was selected 17th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
OHL Success and International Recognition
In 2002, Gragnani led the Frontenacs to the OHL championship. He also represented Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championship, winning a silver medal in both 2002 and 2003.
NHL Career
Gragnani made his NHL debut with the Maple Leafs in 2004. He spent several seasons with Toronto before being traded to the Vancouver Canucks in 2009. After brief stints with the Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues, he signed with Adler Mannheim in 2019.
International Success
In addition to his accomplishments at the World Junior level, Gragnani won the Spengler Cup with Team Canada in 2012.
