Carlos Adrian Valdez, a prominent Uruguayan footballer, commenced his professional career in 2001 with the Uruguayan club Nacional.

European Journey

In 2005, Valdez embarked on a stint in Italian football, initially on loan at Treviso before being acquired by Reggina in 2007. He remained at Reggina for several seasons.

Uruguayan National Team

Valdez's international debut for Uruguay came in 2005 against the unofficial Galician national team. However, his official international debut occurred in 2006, and he subsequently represented Uruguay in the 2007 Copa America and the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
