Caroline Aherne was born on January 13, 1943, in London, England, into a family of actors. She rose to fame through her involvement with the iconic comedy group, Monty Python.
Monty Python Years
Aherne became known as the "seventh Python" due to her frequent appearances in the legendary sketch show, "Monty Python's Flying Circus." She also starred in all of the group's feature films and participated in their live concert performances. Her memorable portrayal of the charming and airheaded blonde in "Flying Circus" cemented her status as a beloved comic icon.
