In 2015, Saleh joined the casting agency associated with Playbox. Shortly after, he began receiving invitations for auditions. His breakthrough role came in the sixth season of "Game of Thrones," where he portrayed Arthur, a young spy working for Lord Varys. This performance propelled his career and led to a leading role in the Disney musical "Mary Poppins Returns."

In "Mary Poppins Returns," Saleh played John Banks, one of the three children of the widowed Michael Banks (Ben Whishaw).
