Early Influences and Musical Beginnings

In 1997, at the tender age of 15, Andrei Morozov's encounter with Dmitry Vinogradov ignited a shared passion for music, particularly bands like Nirvana and Green Day. Inspired by the lack of a vocalist in Dmitry's existing band, Andrei readily filled the role, leading to the formation of "Zhelty Dom" (Yellow House).

First Band and Breakthroughs

Intensive rehearsals culminated in "Zhelty Dom's" debut concert at the "Diamond" club on May 29, 1997. They gained momentum by supporting popular band "Ulyi" and recorded a song called "Moloko," which, unfortunately, never saw the light of day. After recording the song, Dmitry left the band, which ultimately disbanded in 1999.

Reunion and "Inkly"

In 2000, Dmitry rejoined Andrei and the band, now rebranded as "Inkly." Their musical influences expanded to include Placebo, My Vitriol, Muse, and Marilyn Manson.

Artistic Influences

Influenced by Nirvana, Dmitry's interest in rock music began at the age of 14, and his musical horizons continued to broaden, encompassing punk rock and various forms of electronic music.

"M-JAM" and the Birth of "Inkly"

Andrei met Vinograd in late 1998, who invited him to join a project that would later become known as "Inkly." Their musical preferences aligned with bands such as Placebo, Muse, Him, and Radiohead.

Birth of "M-JAM"

Alexander Maksin, born on June 18, 1981, began playing bass guitar at the age of 11. In 1999, he co-founded "M-JAM" with Dmitry Vinogradov, where he served as vocalist and guitarist. The band performed in several Moscow clubs and recorded the song "Luna," which remained unreleased.

Joining "Inkly"

After "M-JAM's" dissolution, Alexander rejoined "Inkly" as the bass guitarist, bringing with him a love for jazz music and bands like Radiohead and HIM.
