His mother, Kathleen, worked at Safeway, while his father, Daniel, shifted from working in a gold mine to home remodeling before passing away from multiple sclerosis in 2014.

At Lake Stevens High School in Washington, Pratt wrestled and dreamed of stardom. Although unsure how to achieve it, he confidently predicted his future success.

Embracing Homelessness and a Serendipitous Encounter

After graduating in 1997, Pratt briefly attended college, took on odd jobs, and ended up living on Maui as a homeless person. While working as a waiter at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, he caught the eye of actress and director Rae Dawn Chong. She cast him in "Cursed Part 3," marking his transition from homelessness to acting.
