Early Life and Education

Clearchus was a philosopher and student of Aristotle. He is known as a Peripatetic philosopher, belonging to the school founded by Aristotle.

Lunar Theory

In his work "On the Face Appearing in the Moon," Plutarch attributes a theory to Clearchus that the Moon is a giant mirror reflecting the Earth.
