Connie Sellecca, also known as Concetta Sellecchia, was born on May 25, 1955, in the county of Rockland County, New York. She is an American actress and fashion model of Italian descent. Sellecca developed an interest in acting while attending a local school in Pomona, New York, where she moved at the age of twelve. Despite the opportunity to attend Boston College, she chose to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Modeling and Acting Career
Sellecca gained recognition as a model after her prominent role as Pam Davidson in the television series "The Greatest American Hero." Her striking features, including her tall stature and excellent figure, made her a sought-after actress in various projects. Following the success of "The Greatest American Hero," Sellecca auditioned for the role of Christine Francis in the television drama series "Hotel." She portrayed this character for five years, from 1983 to 1988.
