Early Life and Education
Born on October 28, 1981, in Bursa, Turkey, Murat Çömür's passion for music emerged during his years at a boys' school, where he began playing the drums.
Music Journey
As a high school student, Çömür joined various bands and performed extensively. In 1999, he graduated with a degree in psychology from a university and moved to Ankara.
Sound Engineering and Music Production
A year later, Çömür established his own studio where he collaborated with bands and pursued his own music ventures. He also worked as a sound engineer at music festivals and bars.
?ileke? and Academic Pursuits
In November 2002, Çömür became the drummer for the band "?ileke?". In 2004, he enrolled in Ankara University to pursue a degree in Social Anthropology.
Transition to Istanbul and Collaborations
After "?ileke?" relocated to Istanbul, Çömür continued his studies at Istanbul University. From 2005, he played Turkish cymbals and, from 2008, Sonor drums.
