Career Overview
Custódio is a Portuguese midfielder who began his career at Sporting Lisbon. He spent five years with the club, establishing himself as a key player and achieving notable successes. In the 2006/07 season, he was named captain but later lost his place in the lineup.
Move to Dynamo Moscow
In July 2007, Custódio joined Dynamo Moscow. However, his time in Russia was unsuccessful. He made only nine appearances for the first team in the 2007/08 season and was later relegated to the reserve team.
Return to Portugal
In December 2008, Dynamo Moscow terminated Custódio's contract. He returned to Portugal and later joined Vitória Guimarães in 2009.
Later Career
Custódio had a successful stint at Vitória Guimarães before moving on to Braga in 2012. He spent several seasons with Braga and won the Portuguese League Cup in the 2012/13 season.
