Early Life and Football Career

Daniele Angeloni was an Italian footballer who played as a midfielder. He was one of the founders of the football club AC Milan in 1899 and became its first Italian coach.

Angeloni played in Milan's first official match in 1901 and was part of the team that won the club's first championship title that year. He played for Milan for two more seasons before transitioning to an administrative role.

Administrative and Managerial Career

From 1902 to 1905, Angeloni served as Milan's secretary. In 1904, he returned to the field as a player for two more seasons, bringing his total number of appearances for Milan to 10.

In 1905, Angeloni retired from playing and became the club's manager. After a year in this role, he became the team's coach, following the departure of Herbert Kilpin.

Coaching Milan to Success

As Milan's coach, Angeloni led the team to their third championship title in 1906. The team won 6 matches under his leadership.

Angeloni continued to coach Milan for two more seasons after their championship victory. He then stepped down from his position and retired from football administration.

Legacy and Impact

Daniele Angeloni played a pivotal role in the founding and early success of AC Milan.
