Early Life and Family
Danil Pluzhnikov was born in Adler, a district of Sochi, Russia, into a musical family. His mother is a pianist and singer, and his father plays the drums and guitar. From a young age, Danil displayed a passion for music, singing along to popular Russian songs.
Childhood Diagnosis
At the age of 10 months, Danil was diagnosed with spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, a systemic bone disease that affects the upper and lower limbs. Despite this diagnosis, his parents remained determined to provide him with a fulfilling life.
Education and Hobbies
Danil attends school via distance learning, receiving daily lessons from teachers. He is known for his academic excellence, maintaining an A-grade average. In addition to music, Danil enjoys drawing, writing poetry, and engaging in outdoor activities such as skateboarding and riding a mini-car.
Musical Journey
Danil's musical talent became apparent at an early age. He began taking vocal lessons at the age of 7 and quickly accumulated over 20 first-place medals and 7 second-place medals in various competitions. He also began composing instrumental music using a synthesizer.
"The Voice Kids"
In 2016, Danil decided to participate in the third season of the Russian singing competition "The Voice Kids." His audition performance of "Two Eagles" by Oleg Gazmanov left the judges deeply impressed. Danil continued to captivate audiences throughout the competition, showcasing his unique voice and mature interpretation of the songs he sang.
Victory and Post-Show Career
On April 29, 2016, Danil Pluzhnikov emerged as the winner of "The Voice Kids" season 3, mentored by Russian singer Dima Bilan. Following his victory, he embarked on a nationwide tour and performed at numerous events, including the "Nashestvie" rock festival.
Humanitarian Work
Danil is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He regularly visits the Moscow Oncology Center, where he sings and plays the synthesizer for young cancer patients. He believes that his music can bring joy and comfort to those in need.
Personal Life
Danil has embraced his small stature and does not allow it to define him. He is passionate about music with deep meaning and enjoys listening to artists such as Grigory Leps and Valery Meladze. Danil also enjoys composing his own music and won a grand prize for his original work.
