Danny Cipriani is an English rugby player who currently plays for the London-based team "Wasps" and the England national team. He was born in London. Soon after his birth, Danny's parents, Jay and Ann, divorced. His father returned to Trinidad and Tobago, his home country, but still maintained strong ties with his son. Danny's mother became a London taxi driver and saved enough money to send him to the Wimbledon Preparatory School in Donhead, where his talent for rugby was discovered.

Danny attended several educational institutions and played not only rugby but also football and cricket. As a versatile athlete, he played football for the "Queens Park Rangers" and cricket for schools in Berkshire and Oxfordshire. He was even invited to be a batsman for the Surrey County Cricket Club. At the age of nine, Danny played rugby for the Rosslyn Park Rugby Club in Roehampton and reached the U15 level.

In 2003, Danny entered the Wasps Academy and began playing for their team. In December 2004, he made his debut in a match against the Bristol team for the "Powergen Cup," becoming the youngest player in the top rugby league.
