Biography of Danny Glover

Danny Glover was born in San Francisco, California, USA. He graduated from the college at the University of San Francisco and the Negro Actors Studio at the American Conservatory Theatre.

Glover made his debut in the film industry in 1979 in the movie "Escape from Alcatraz". He is known for his roles in films such as "Predator 2" (1990), "Pure Luck" (1991), "The Color Purple" (1985), and "Silverado" (1985). He also appeared in popular TV films, but his true fame came from his role as Sergeant Murtaugh in the "Lethal Weapon" series - the first film was released in 1987, and the fourth in 1998.

On May 31, 1997, Glover received an honorary Doctor of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco. He has been married since 1975 and has a daughter.
