Youth and Early CareerDavide Di Gennaro, an Italian footballer, is an attacking midfielder for Cagliari. He began his career with AC Milan's youth team. At the age of 18, he made his Serie A debut in the 2007-08 season.
Loan to Bologna
In search of playing time, Di Gennaro was sent on loan to Serie B club Bologna for the season. During his time there, he gained valuable experience.
Genoa and Milan
After his loan spell with Bologna, Di Gennaro was included in a deal that brought Marco Borriello to Milan and sent him to Genoa, with Milan retaining a portion of his rights.
Return to Milan
