Early Life and Education
Born in Ukraine, Denis Malyuska embarked on his academic journey at the prestigious Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where he pursued and completed his legal studies (2004). Seeking further knowledge and expertise, he ventured to the United Kingdom, where he obtained a Master's degree in Law from the University of London (2016).
Legal Career
Malyuska's legal career began in 2004 with the establishment of the law firm "Legal Firm Business Law," where he specialized in corporate governance, dispute resolution, and bankruptcy. His expertise in these areas led to notable contributions, including the settlement of complex disputes and the restructuring of insolvent businesses.
In addition to his private practice, Malyuska also founded and headed the publishing company "Radnyk Pres." His commitment to legal dissemination and research was evident in his various publications on regulatory compliance and business management.
World Bank Group
In 2010, Malyuska's career took a significant turn when he was appointed as a consultant for the World Bank Group. In this role, he provided technical assistance to governments in Ukraine and Central Asia, focusing on private sector development and economic reform. His contributions to the World Bank's mission earned him recognition and respect.
BRDO/World Bank Group
Building on his success at the World Bank, Malyuska became the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the BRDO/World Bank Group. This independent think-tank, established with the support of the Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Western partners, and the Canadian government, provided Malyuska with a platform to advance his ideas and contribute to policymaking.
Political Career
In 2019, Malyuska took a bold step by joining the political arena as a candidate for Ukraine's Parliament from the "Servant of the People" party. His campaign drew on his expertise in legal and economic matters, advocating for transparency, accountability, and the promotion of a favorable business environment.
Minister of Justice
On August 29, 2019, Denis Malyuska was appointed Minister of Justice in the government of Oleksiy Honcharuk. In this esteemed role, he spearheads the implementation of legal reforms, oversees the judicial system, and ensures the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
Personal Life
Malyuska is married to Liudmyla Serhiivna Rabchynska, and together they have been blessed with four children: Elizabeth, Ulyana, Solomiya, and Nestor. His family provides a strong foundation for his personal and professional endeavors.
