Early Life and Dancing Roots

Dmytro Maslennikov, born in 1994 in Ukraine, spent his early years in a small town near Horlivka. At the age of 10, he discovered his passion for dance and began his journey in the world of modern, jazz-funk, and contemporary styles.

Dance Competitions and Recognition

Maslennikov's talent quickly became apparent. At 15, he won the Ukraine Modern Dance Championship, and a year later, he triumphed in the World Cup of Dance Show. These early successes marked the beginning of his dance career.

Professional Training and Teaching

After graduating from high school, Maslennikov pursued a compromise between his parents' desire for a "serious" profession and his own passion for dance. He enrolled in both the Kharkiv Law University and the Kyiv University of Culture, specializing in modern choreography. As a student, he also taught choreography at a prestigious dance school in Kharkiv.

"Танцуют все" and the Rise to Fame

In 2013, Maslennikov made a splash on Ukrainian television with his performance on the show "Танцуют все" (Dance with the Stars). His unique style, dubbed "smart dancing," earned him the nickname "the dancing prosecutor." Despite not reaching the finals, Maslennikov returned the following season and finished as runner-up.

"Танцы на ТНТ" and Collaborative Success

In 2015, Maslennikov participated in the Russian dance competition "Танцы на ТНТ." He joined Egor Druzhinin's team and impressed with his skill and emotional depth. While not reaching the finals, Maslennikov gained experience in collaborating with other dancers and choreographers.

Choreographic Collaborations and Beyond

Beyond competitive dance, Maslennikov has contributed to several dance productions and shows. He choreographed the dance performance "Он и Она" with Lena Pul, served as a choreographer for "Танцы на ТНТ," and participated in the 3D show musical "Джумео."

Current Projects and Career

Maslennikov's dance journey continues to evolve. In 2017, he choreographed the musical "Чайка," a modern interpretation of Chekhov's classic play. His expertise and passion for dance continue to lead him to new heights in his career.
