Early Career
Born in Belarus, Aleksandr Moshnikov was a product of the Minsk "Dynamo" academy, where he trained under Anatoly Bogovich. He began his professional career in 1988 with "Khimik" in Kazakhstan, playing 30 matches and conceding 33 goals that season. In 1989 and 1990, he made 10 and 33 appearances, respectively.
Switch to Uzbekistan
In July 1991, Moshnikov joined "Navbahor" in Uzbekistan, where he played 10 matches and allowed 15 goals before the end of the season. He returned to "Navbahor" in September 1993 and remained there for over a decade, until 2003. During his tenure with "Navbahor," the team became the Uzbekistan Premier League champions once and bronze medalists seven times, and they also won the Uzbekistan Cup twice.
International Career
Moshnikov represented Uzbekistan's national team once, in a friendly against the United Arab Emirates in 1996. He was a member of the squad for the 1996 AFC Asian Cup but did not make any appearances.
Coaching Journey
After retiring as a player, Moshnikov pursued a coaching career. Since 2004, he has worked as a goalkeeping coach for "Shakhtyor" in Belarus.
