Early Career and Debut for Estonia
Dmitry Kruglov started his football journey with Estonian clubs HÜJK Emmaste, Tallinna JK, and Levadia. In 2004, he made his international debut for the Estonian national team in a match against Latvia.
Professional Career in Russia and Europe
In 2005, Kruglov moved to the Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow. It marked his debut in a major league. However, he later joined Kuban, Torpedo Moscow, and Nefchi Baku on loan. In 2011, he signed with Rostov before returning to Levadia in 2013.
Return to Estonia and Azerbaijani Stint
After leaving Rostov, Kruglov returned to his former club Levadia in Estonia. In 2014, he signed with Azerbaijani club Ravan but soon returned to Levadia. He briefly played for Infone in 2015 before joining Levadia again in 2018.
