Early Years and Club Career
Born in Ukraine, the young footballer joined the youth academy of RVUFK Kyiv. In 2007, he made the leap to the prestigious Dynamo Kyiv. His debut for their reserve team, Dynamo-2, came on August 17, 2007, against Illichivets Mariupol.
International Beginnings
Kucheriv's international career began on August 21, 2005, when he played for the Ukraine U17 team against Belarus. He went on to make 34 appearances for this age group.
Success with U19
Two years later, Kucheriv debuted for the U19 team in a match against Cyprus. Yuri Kalitvintsev included him in the squad for the 2009 European Championship in Donetsk and Mariupol. Kucheriv played every match of the tournament, culminating in Ukraine's 2-0 victory over England in the final.
