Early Life and Childhood DreamsDmitry Mazurov, born on April 13, 1981, in Novosibirsk, embarked on his acting journey early in life. Despite being raised by a single mother and stepfather, he always yearned for a connection with his biological father. Despite facing challenges in his early life, Dmitry found solace in the arts, particularly in theatre.
Education and Training
After attending a studio at the Novosibirsk Youth Academic Theatre "Globus," Dmitry pursued formal training at the Novosibirsk Theatre School (1998-2002). He honed his craft in productions of Shakespeare's "Two Gentlemen of Verona," Gorky's "The Lower Depths," and Chekhov's "The Spouse." In 2002, he joined the prestigious Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow, where he graduated in 2004.
Breakthrough Roles and Television Success
Dmitry made his television debut in 2003 with a role in the acclaimed series "Poor Nastya." He rose to prominence in 2009 with his leading role in the melodrama "Two Sisters-2." In 2011, he starred as Igor Polonsky in the romantic comedy "Two Tickets to Venice." His career reached new heights with the lead role as operative Pavel Tkachev in the popular crime drama "Friday."

Mazurov has showcased his versatility in numerous films and television shows. His credits include "Opera. Dmitry Mazurov has been married twice. His first wife, Natalya, was an actress with whom he had two sons. They divorced in 2010. In subsequent years, he met his second wife, also named Natalya, who inspired him to pursue acting.

Most recently, Dmitry Mazurov starred in the detective series "Explosive Wave" (2017). In addition to acting, he has participated in the dance show "Dancing with the Stars."
