Early Life and Career
Ukrainian entrepreneur, public communications consultant, and expert in territorial development, Oleksiy Goncharenko graduated from the Pryazovskyi State Technical University and spent 12 years working at his own digital communications and advertising agency.
Urban Planning Contributions
As an urbanist, Goncharenko volunteered for the Kyiv Architecture organization and served on the expert council of the Terra Dignitas international open architectural competition for a memorial to the Heavenly Hundred heroes.
Political Career
In the 2019 parliamentary elections, Goncharenko ran as a candidate for the Servant of the People party in electoral district №218, which encompassed parts of the Obolon and Svyatoshynsky districts of Kyiv. At the time of his election, he was registered as a physical entity entrepreneur and resided in Kyiv. He was not affiliated with any political party at the time.
Parliamentary Role
Upon being elected to the Verkhovna Rada, Goncharenko joined the Committee on Organization of State Power, Local Self-Governance, Regional Development, and Urban Planning. He went on to become the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Local Self-Governance and Public Self-Organization.
