Early Life and Education
Serhii Lyubota, a Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician, was born in Kharkiv, a city in eastern Ukraine. He spent his childhood in the town of Kupyansk-Uzlovy. In 2002, he graduated from the Kharkiv State Technical University of Construction and Architecture, specializing in Organizational Management.
Business Career
Upon graduating, Lyubota established a construction materials store in his hometown, Kupyansk. He successfully managed the business, gaining experience in the construction sector.
Political Journey
Entry into ParliamentIn the 2019 parliamentary elections, Lyubota was elected as a member of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) from the "Servant of the People" party. He represented Electoral District 177, which encompasses several regions in northeastern Ukraine.
Parliamentary Committees
In parliament, Lyubota serves on the Committee on Ukraine's Integration with the European Union. He also chairs the Sub-Committee on Economic, Sectoral Cooperation, and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Zone between Ukraine and the EU.
International Representation
Lyubota is a member of the Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the EU-Eastern Neighbors. In this role, he participates in interparliamentary dialogue and cooperation with the European Union and neighboring countries.
