Biography of Dmitry Yasminov

Dmitry Yasminov was born in 1980 in Vladimir, Russia. From a young age, he was taught to take pride in his city, especially since he was named after Prince Dmitry Donskoy during the 600th anniversary of the Kulikovo Battle.

In 1997, Yasminov graduated from Linguistic Gymnasium No. 23 with a focus on the English language. Later in 2002, he completed his studies at the Journalism Faculty of Vladimir State University.

While still pursuing his diploma in 1997, Yasminov began his career as a radio host in a youth program. He later worked as a correspondent for "TV6 Vladimir," a local television channel.

In 2002, Yasminov left his position as a news anchor to join the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. He served in the Railway Troops of the Russian Federation from 2002 to 2003. Initially, he was part of the security guard squad and later worked at the video studio of the Railway Troops in Moscow. This led Yasminov to relocate to the capital city.

After working for a year at a regional television station, Yasminov submitted his resume to REN TV. Since the summer of 2004, he has been working as a news correspondent for the television channel. According to Yasminov himself, his work on the program "Week with Marianna Maksimovskaya" on REN TV provided him with significant professional growth and self-realization.
