Early Life and Education
Born in 1930 at Zhetiztobe railway station in Semipalatinsk Oblast to a farming family, he pursued a higher legal education.
Career in the Procuratorate
In 1950, he embarked on his professional journey as an assistant prosecutor in the Semipalatinsk Oblast Procuratorate. He gradually ascended through the ranks, serving as prosecutor of Zhana-Semey District, head of the general supervision department in the Kazakh SSR Procuratorate, and senior assistant prosecutor in the Tselinograd Oblast. From 1972 to 1975, he held the post of Guryev Oblast prosecutor.
Political Positions
In 1975, he transitioned to political roles within the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, serving as deputy head of the department of administrative bodies. From 1980 to 1981, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kazakh SSR. Subsequently, he became First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs from 1981 to 1984.
Minister of Justice of the Kazakh SSR
In September 1984, he was appointed Minister of Justice of the Kazakh SSR, a position he held until May 1990. During his tenure, he played a significant role in the justice system of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic.
Later Years and Legacy
Following his retirement, he passed away in 2006, leaving behind a legacy of contributions to the legal and political landscape of Kazakhstan.
