Biography of Domingo Cavallo
Domingo Cavallo was born in 1946 into a family of Italian immigrants. He completed his studies at the National University of Buenos Aires, where he graduated from the Faculty of Economics. He furthered his education at Harvard University and later became the director of the Central Bank.
Political Career
Domingo Cavallo first emerged onto the political scene of Argentina as a "savior of the nation."
