Biography of Donald Faison
Donald Faison was born on June 22, 1974, in New York, to parents Shirley and Donald, who were both actors. From a very young age, Donald observed his parents working at the innovative National Black Theatre in Harlem, performing during the nights. At the age of five, he showed a talent for memorizing any role and a desire to become an actor.

Early Acting Career
Donald's first training ground was the children's arts school at the theater. He continued his training as part of the children's theater group "CityKids" and completed his education at LaGuardia School for the Performing Arts. By this time, he had already accumulated a long list of stage roles and appearances in commercials, and he felt ready to test his skills in Hollywood.

Rise to Fame
Having been performing on stage since he was six years old, Donald Faison first tasted fame by appearing in the school comedy series "Clueless." He has been on a triumphant journey for ten seasons in the Emmy-nominated medical sitcom "Scrubs." Faison transitioned from his acting childhood to more mature screen roles in urban dramas such as "Sugar Hill" (1994). However, he achieved greater success when he showcased his bright smile and charming personality in "women-centric" films like the TV series "Felicity" (1998-2002) and the movie "Waiting to Exhale" (1995).

Continued Success
In addition to receiving awards for his role in "Scrubs," Faison regularly appears in films and provides voices for animated movies, where he has ample opportunity to showcase his extraordinary personality and innate sense of humor. Faison is known for his role as the witty and audacious Dr. Christopher Turk in "Scrubs," which he portrayed alongside his close friend Zach Braff, creating a unique atmosphere in the series. Faison's portrayal of Turk's relationship with nurse Carla Espinosa, played by Judy Reyes, led to marriage and family and showcased the actor's realistic emotional depth and sensibility.

Later Career
Faison's film career has also thrived alongside his television success. He played a limousine driver in the charming children's comedy "Big Fat Liar" (2002). In 2013, he portrayed a party-loving guy in the film "The Babysitters" and reunited with his "Clueless" co-star Brittany Murphy in "Little Black Book" (2004).
Personal Life
Faison is a big fan of "Star Wars" and previously worked as a bodyguard. He has three sons, two from his marriage to Lisa Askey - Dade and Kobi, and a son named Sean Faison-Ince from a previous relationship with Audrey Ince. Faison's on-screen chemistry with Zach Braff has extended to their real-life friendship, and their "Scrubs" colleagues affectionately refer to Faison as "the guy from 'Clueless'".
