Early Life and Draft

Donovan Mitchell was born in Elmsford, New York, on September 7, 1996. He played college basketball for the University of Louisville before declaring for the 2017 NBA Draft.

Utah Jazz (2017-2022)

On June 22, 2017, Mitchell was selected 13th overall by the Denver Nuggets but was immediately traded to the Utah Jazz. He quickly established himself as a rising star, averaging 20.5 points per game in his rookie season and earning a spot on the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
