Early Career

Savo Lazic began his football journey in the lower leagues of Yugoslavia, honing his skills with teams such as Budocnost Valjevo, Remont, Macva, and Sevojno. In 2005, he made a significant move to Mladost Lucani, where he emerged as the Second League's top scorer with 11 goals.

Rise to Stardom with Partizan

In January 2007, Lazic's talent caught the attention of Serbian giants Partizan. Over the next two years, he played 52 matches for the club, scoring seven goals and establishing himself as a key player in the championship-winning side.

Ukrainian Adventure with Metalurh

Before the 2008/09 season, Ukrainian clubs Metalist Kharkiv, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, and Metalurh Donetsk expressed interest in signing Lazic. On January 11, 2009, he officially joined Metalurh, becoming their first winter signing.

International Debut

In November 2007, Lazic earned his first cap for the Serbian national team in a Euro 2008 qualifier against Kazakhstan.
