João Pereira: Portuguese Football Defender

João Pereira is a Portuguese football defender currently playing for Trabzonspor. He began his professional career with Sporting CP in 2003, making his debut in the Primeira Liga.

Transfer to Valencia

In 2012, Pereira made a significant move to Valencia CF. The Spanish club paid a transfer fee of €3.6 million for his services. He signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional year.

Stint in Germany

After three seasons with Valencia, Pereira sought a new challenge in Germany. In January 2015, he joined Hannover 96 on a six-month contract until the end of the season.
