Early Life and EducationDorin Damir was born on March 20, 1972, in the Calarasi district of the Moldavian SSR. He graduated from high school in 1987 and college in 1991 before attending the Police Academy.
Career in Law Enforcement and Business
After graduating from the academy, Damir worked in the Department for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs. He retired from law enforcement in 2002 and began working in the business sector, focusing on security, investments, consulting, and real estate.
Damir also earned a degree in Foreign Economic Relations from a university and later completed a master's degree in Sports Management.
Involvement in Martial Arts
Vice President of the Moldovan Judo FederationFrom 2005 to 2012, Damir served as Vice President of the Moldovan Judo Federation.
Achievements in Martial Arts
Damir holds a black belt, 1st dan, in Taekwondo and is an instructor in hand-to-hand combat.
Founding FEA and Promoting Martial Arts in Moldova
In 2009, Damir founded the Fighting & Entertainment Association (FEA) to promote Moldovan fighters internationally and advocate for a healthy lifestyle among youth, particularly through K-1.
Damir also initiated projects such as King of Kings and BUSHIDO FC in Moldova. In 2011, he established the FIGHTING EAGLES combat sports project.
