Early Life and Education
Dragan Maršićanin was born in 1959. He pursued an economic degree at the University of Belgrade, laying the foundation for his future career in finance and politics.
Political Career
Foundation of the Democratic Party of SerbiaIn 1992, Maršićanin played a pivotal role in establishing the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) alongside Vojislav Koštunica. The DSS primarily drew support from the country's intelligentsia.
Deputy Head of the Democratic Party
Maršićanin rose through the ranks of the DSS and became deputy head of the party, demonstrating his influence and prominence within the political landscape.
Speaker of the National Assembly
