Dusty Baker is an American baseball player and former outfielder for Major League Baseball. He is currently the manager of the Cincinnati Reds. Prior to this, Dusty has managed the San Francisco Giants and the Chicago Cubs, with the latter winning the National League Championship in 2002.

Dusty Baker was born on June 15, 1949, in Riverside, California. He attended Del Campo High School near Sacramento. He began his professional baseball career as an outfielder in 1968. Dusty played for sixteen seasons in teams such as the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, and Oakland Athletics, becoming one of the brightest professionals in the sport with outstanding results.

In 1981 and 1982, Dusty Baker was selected multiple times to the National League All-Star team, and he won the League Championship Series three times in 1977, 1978, and 1981.
