Dylan Bruno is an American actor and model who gained recognition in the late 90s and early 2000s with a list of supporting roles in films such as "Saving Private Ryan" (1998) and "The One" (2001). He also received significant television roles in movies of the week, such as "The Pennsylvania Miners Story" (2002), but gained a larger audience as the reckless FBI agent Colby Granger in the action-drama series "Num3ers" (CBS, 2005).

Born on September 6, 1972, in Milford, Connecticut, Dylan Bruno comes from an acting family. His brother Chris gained fame through his role in the series "The Dead Zone" (2002), and his father Scott had some minor film credits in the 70s.

During his high school years, Bruno excelled in sports as a national-level wrestler and participated in the youth Olympics. After graduating from high school, he attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he studied environmental design and continued to enhance his physical skills as a linebacker for the school's football team.

Bruno made his television debut in 1989 as a contestant on the national game show "American Gladiators" (1989-1996), and his first foray into modeling was posing for Calvin Klein. His acting debut came in the popular video game "Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom" in 1995.

He gained notable roles in the war drama "When Trumpets Fade" (1998) and the epic World War II film "Saving Private Ryan" (1998), which opened many doors for his film career. He went on to appear in "The Rage: Carrie 2" (1999), "Where the Heart Is" (2000), and the sci-fi film "The One" (2001).

In 2001 and 2004, Bruno produced several independent films. He also became known for his impressive voice, lending it to commercials and documentary films. In addition to his acting career, Bruno has provided voice-over work and served as a special correspondent for the program "Entertainment Tonight" (CBS).

In 2006, Bruno married Emmeli Hultquist in Sweden, and they welcomed their first child, Damian, a year later.
