Early Life and Education
Eduardo Lucero was born in the late 1960s in Durango, a state in central Mexico, and moved to Plano, Illinois, at the age of seven. After graduating from Plano High School, Lucero relocated to Los Angeles, which has since become his home. In Los Angeles, Eduardo was able to pursue his passion for art and fashion. He studied at the Otis/Parsons School of Design, now known as the Otis College of Art and Design, where he learned the skills of fashion design and illustration. He graduated from the design school in 1989 and spent the next few years working in various artistic fields, including graphic design, photography, and costume design for film and television.

In 1997, his design talent earned him the CaliforniaMart's Rising Star Award, a prestigious honor for young designers and fashion designers on the West Coast. Fox.
