Mexican Fashion Designer, Eduardo Treviko
Eduardo Treviko is a Mexican fashion designer and one of the leaders of the fashion label 'Cubo'. He started designing clothes in 1989 while living in his hometown of Monterrey. After ten years, Eduardo decided to take a creative break and moved to Mexico City. However, the desire to create and his unstoppable creative needs became too strong, and he returned to his beloved profession after just two years.
Soon after his return, Eduardo Treviko met Mauricio Ibinarriaga, a publisher and sales specialist. Together, they decided to launch a joint project focused on swimwear sales. In 2005, Eduardo Treviko and Mauricio Ibinarriaga opened their own store called 'Trend'. The main goal of this store was to promote their own label 'Cubo', but they also helped other emerging designers to thrive. Under their guidance, well-known fashion designers and labels such as Regina Reyna, 'Citrico', Laura Carrillo, and Roberto Villarreal flourished.
The 'Cubo' label is mainly known in Mexico and specializes in men's and women's clothing, including the swimwear that started it all. The clothing produced by the label is both practical and elegant. Later on, Treviko and Ibinarriaga launched another joint project - the line of men's swimwear called 'SITGES'.
To this day, the Treviko and Ibinarriaga labels continue to delight their fans with new stylish collections. Recently, the designers presented their latest masterpiece - the 'Metals and Minerals' collection ('Metales y Minerales'). The collection includes a stunning selection of men's and women's costumes, predominantly in metallic shades of silver, gold, and bronze. The designers primarily used natural materials such as cotton, and standout elements of the collection included stylish straight trousers, knitted sweaters, and absolutely charming narrow dresses.
