Early Life and Education
Ekaterina Varchenko was born on July 18, 1989, in Priluky, Ukrainian SSR. Her father was a serviceman, while her mother was a homemaker. At school, she studied dance and attended the theater studio "Fantasy." In 2011, Varchenko graduated from the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema, and Television, where she studied under Yu.N. Mazhuga.
Onstage Career
Varchenko's acting career began in 2007 when she joined the New Dramatic Theater on Pechersk. Notable roles include Angelique in "The Libertine," Servant in "Arlecchino, Servant of Two Masters," and Verochka in "On a Holy Night." In 2013, she became an actress at the Kyiv Young Theater, portraying diverse characters such as the Girl in "Games of God," Palazhka in "Matchmaking on Goncharovka," and Oddette in "Swan Princess."
Film Debut and Breakthrough
Varchenko made her film debut in 2009 with the series "Mukhtar's Return 5." She later appeared in notable films such as "Matchmakers 6," "Gunpowder and Buckshot," and "Female Doctor." Her breakthrough role came in 2016 with the melodrama "The Housekeeper," where she played the single mother Natasha Suvorova. This role brought her widespread recognition.

In subsequent years, Varchenko continued to portray memorable characters in films and television series. She starred as Katya in "Forget and Remember," Lena in "Marriage is Prohibited, Mercy is Pardoned," and Anna in "The Dentist." She also had roles in "Central Hospital," "Conductor," and "Foundlings."
Personal Life
Varchenko is married to Anatol Fon-Filandra, an actor. They welcomed their son, Kistian-Dorian, in 2016. The couple chose an international name, hoping their son would grow up with a global outlook.
